Hamburg fish market

Hamburg's most traditional market has been trading since 1703 and you can get their almost anything you can imagine - the Hamburg fish market right on river Elbe docks.

In the shadow of the 100 year old fish auction hall you can buy anything what your heart desires; from clothing to cheese and of course fresh fish.

Flowers are sold directly off the lorry, banana boxes flying through the air, bags full of delicious meats and cheeses change hands, good humoured people and enthusiastic traders make the experience at the fish market unforgettable.

Summer season April until October: every Sunday from 5am until 9.30am

Winter season November until March: every Sunday from 7am until 9.30am
